Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Learn The Impossible collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website, the member area and any landing pages we run.
The controller of your data is the operator of Learn The Impossible. For anything in this policy, write to hello@learntheimpossible.com.
What we collect

We never see or store your card details.Payment is handled entirely on Stripe’s own checkout; we only receive a reference and whether the payment succeeded.
Why we are allowed to use it
- To perform our contract with you — running your account, giving you access to the content you paid for, taking payment.
- Our legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and answering your messages.
- Your consent — analytics and advertising cookies, and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time, and it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give.
- Legal obligation — keeping records of transactions for tax and accounting.
Who else processes it
We use the following providers. They act on our instructions and may store data outside your country; transfers are covered by the providers’ own safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it
- Account data — while your account exists, then deleted on request.
- Payment records — kept as long as tax law requires, typically six to seven years.
- Analytics — visit and event records for up to 14 months.
- Community posts — these stay visible unless you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, EU or another region with similar law, you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; or send it to another provider. You can also withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these, email hello@learntheimpossible.com. We will reply within one month. We do not charge for this, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Deleting your account
Email us and we will delete your account and personal data. Some records must be kept where the law requires it — payment records for tax, for example — and anonymous analytics that can no longer be linked to you may remain.
Children
This service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Access to the admin area is restricted, sessions are limited to one device at a time, and payment details never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects you we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will tell you by email or a notice on the site before it takes effect.
